Welcome to The ECG Group
The ECG Group provides expert consulting and design services for energy efficiency projects.
We have specific expertise acting as the Owner's Agent and Engineer-of-Record for the initiation, design, and management of energy savings performance contracting projects. Through our "Energy Performance Engineering" (EPE) Service, we have successfully worked as the technical liaison between Owners and Energy Services Companies (ESCO's) on over 100 energy performance projects that produced close to $1 Billion in energy conservation improvements. Our experts lend credibility, transparency, and control to the process and ensure the Owner's interests are protected throughout every phase of the program.
Through our work on energy-focused projects, ECG has developed tremendous depth of expertise in the more innovative areas of Mechanical engineering. This experience includes the application of fuel cells (combined heat and power generation), LED lighting, solar photovoltaic, wind, and other current and/or emerging technologies.
Our focus on state-of-the-art energy efficient building systems makes ECG uniquely qualified to design either traditional or innovative measures, depending on the client's needs.

"In my career as a school superintendent this is my third energy performance contract project. I can say without reservation that ECG's involvement in the current project has made it the smoothest process that I have experienced."
"I can recommend ECG to any school district considering an energy performance contract project. The involvement of this firm in the earliest stages of the energy performance contract process is critical to the ultimate success of the project."
